Atlantic Coast Kiln Co. takes great pride in friendly, reliable service, knowledgeable consultation during repairs, open communication, quality work, and fair pricing. It is extremely rare that question arises about warranty, however, there are times when problems arise where having a clearly written policy provides clarity.
Atlantic Coast Kiln Co. warrants all parts and labor of completed work for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of completed work. This warranty extends to only the original customer.
Coverage
Within the period of this warranty, Atlantic Coast Kiln Co. will repair or replace, free of charge, any part from work completed in requisite timeframe proving defective in material or workmanship. All warranty repairs must be completed by Atlantic Coast Kilns or, in the case of trade work, one of our authorized partners.
All expenses related to repairing equipment shall be covered by Atlantic Coast Kiln Co. apart from travel charges to and from the site based on the published Federal Mileage Rate from company location to and from customer location.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to any costs, repairs, or services for the following:
1. Service calls to explain proper usage or to instruct use of or installation of product. Customer error or misunderstanding of equipment operation is billed at mileage rate plus call charge plus any incurred hourly rate for instruction.
2. Repairs necessitated by use other than normal use.
3. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, or improper installation.
4. Work done by anyone other than Atlantic Coast Kiln Co.
5. Any damage caused by any external forces including lightening, flood, animals, electrical system failure, etc.
How to Obtain Warranty
The buyer must notify Atlantic Coast Kilns by mail or email of any defect, malfunction, or nonconformity promptly upon discovery. Atlantic Coast Kilns shall make arrangements to visit the customers location for the purpose of repairing or replacing the defective part(s) within thirty (30) days of notification.
